How much do crypto trading bots earn?

Trading bots and terminals take a fee on every buy and sell, usually around 1% of the trade. DefiLlama adds up the fees that reach each bot’s fee wallets on chain, which makes it the one usage measure that compares every bot on the same basis.

Over the 30 days to 6 October 2026, the 13 tracked bots collected $121M. Over the past twelve months they collected $763M, and $2.33B since DefiLlama’s first data point for each of them.

Which crypto trading bot is the most used?

Ranked by fees over the last 30 days, the same order as the DegenBench card numbers. Fees measure activity, not quality: for the same trading volume, a bot with a higher fee rate earns more.

“Since launch” starts at DefiLlama’s first data point for each bot.

How concentrated is the trading bot market?

Axiom, GMGN and fomo took 90% of tracked fees over the last 30 days, and only 7 of the 13 bots collected more than $1M. A year earlier, in September 2025, the three leaders were Axiom, GMGN and Photon, with 88% of that month’s tracked fees.

Are trading bots moving from Solana to EVM chains?

48% of tracked fees over the last 30 days came from EVM chains, against 6.1% in September 2025. EVM means every chain outside Solana and the other non-EVM networks listed in the method below, BSC, Base and Ethereum among them.

  • Mostly on EVM chains: GMGN, fomo, Bankr, Maestro, copyfomo and o1.exchange.
  • Mostly on Solana: Axiom, Terminal, Trojan, Photon, Bloom and BONKbot.

Which trading bots have lost the most activity?

Each bot’s best month on DefiLlama compared with September 2026, for bots that once earned more than $1M in a single month. Memecoin trading moves quickly between chains, launchpads and apps, so a bot’s best month can be far behind it.

How many people use Telegram trading bots?

Telegram prints a monthly users count on the public page of each bot. We read it every Monday for the official handle listed on each DegenBench card. Web terminals such as Axiom, fomo, Terminal, Photon and o1.exchange have no comparable public counter, so they are not in this table.

Together, the 8 bots showed 401,678 monthly users. Someone who uses two bots counts twice, and a bot with several Telegram handles is read on its main one only.

How these numbers are built

  • Source: DefiLlama’s public fees API, one request per bot. Fees are what users paid the bot, measured from its fee wallets on chain. They are not trading volume.
  • Scope: the 13 trading bots reviewed on DegenBench that DefiLlama tracks. Bots without public fee data (Sigma and Based Bot) are left out, and bots we do not review are not counted, so the totals are a floor for the market, not its full size.
  • Windows: 30-day and 12-month figures are trailing windows to 6 October 2026. Monthly figures use complete calendar months in UTC; the latest is September 2026.
  • Chains: the EVM share is the part of fees recorded outside Solana, Tron, TON, Sui, Aptos, Bitcoin, Hyperliquid L1, Near, Starknet and Cardano.
  • Telegram: the monthly users count shown on each bot’s public t.me page, read on the date in the table.
  • Not used: the user, trade and volume totals that bots publish about themselves. We cannot check them, and each bot counts differently.
  • Refresh: every Monday. DefiLlama sometimes revises an adapter, so past months can move slightly from one week to the next.
  • Banana Gun: its card already flags the DefiLlama feed as broken ($5.34K over 30 days against $2.37M over a year). It stays in the tables but out of the headline comparisons.
