De.Fi Scanner review
The industrial option on EVM: 80+ checks per contract, a security score, an AI score built on reputation, sybil and swap behaviour, top-10 holder and liquidity endpoints, and a wallet shield that revokes approvals. Everything is EVM-only, the chain list is published as a count rather than a table, and its referral and pricing pages are rendered client-side, so their conditions could not be read.

- Price
- Free scanner · paid PRO tierThe contract auditor is listed as free on the site, and the docs describe the scanner, Shield revocation and the API without a public price list: Scanner PRO and Advanced Shield are the paid tiers, and the API is metered in credits (assetsPrices costs 1 credit, 100 calls a minute in the documented example).

Who it’s for
Pick it if
You check EVM contracts before signing, and you want a score plus an approval revoker in the same place.
Skip it if
You trade Solana, or you want a self-serve tariff page before paying anything.
Strengths / Limits
Strengths
- 80+ documented security checks per contract, with the findings listed and explained.
- API endpoints built for a checklist: scannerProject (issues and score), scannerHolderAnalysis (top 10 holders) and scannerLiquidityAnalysis (liquidity distribution and top 10 LP holders).
- Advanced Shield monitors wallets around the clock and revokes risky approvals in one click.
- Its token scanning is resold widely: the De.Fi Antivirus API has run inside GeckoTerminal for more than three years according to De.Fi.
Limits
- EVM only: no Solana coverage anywhere in the scanner or the API.
- Chain coverage is published as “10+ blockchains” for the scanner and “35+” for the API, with no table of names on the pages read; only Ethereum and BSC are named.
- Pricing and the referral program live on client-rendered pages: the routes exist in the sitemap, the terms are unreadable without a browser session.

How to start safely
- Open the official site
Type de.fi yourself or use a bookmark: scam copies of popular scanners exist too.
- Paste the token address
Use the contract address from the launchpad or the DEX pair, never a ticker: dozens of tokens share a name.
- Read the red flags first
Mint or freeze authority still active, unlocked liquidity, a few wallets holding most of the supply, snipers and linked wallets.
- Cross-check before you buy
Confirm on a second scanner and on the chain explorer, look at who is buying with a wallet tracker, then size the trade small.
