Trading bot fee index: what a trade really costs

The price of a buy and the matching sell on 15 crypto trading bots, worked out from their own fee pages: platform rate, cashback, referral discounts and the conditions in the small print.

Fee pages checked 7 October 2026

$1,000 round trip on Solana · median#F01

$19

Median platform cost of buying then selling $1,000 on Solana for a new account, across the 13 bots that publish a firm Solana rate. It runs from $0 on Sigma to $40 on copyfomo. Gas, priority fees and slippage come on top.

What the fee pages show

40%

The most cashback gives back

40% of the fee is returned at o1.exchange’s top tier. A new account gets 20% back: cashback rewards volume, so the advertised rate is rarely the rate you start on.

Source: o1.exchange

5 / 15

Referral links that lower the fee

5 bots cut the fee for users who sign up through a referral link. On the others, a referral link pays the person who shared it and changes nothing for you.

Source: fomo, Trojan, Axiom, Bloom, and copyfomo

5%

Fees nobody can check

5% of the 30-day fees DefiLlama tracks went to Terminal, which publishes only a ceiling, “up to 1%” a trade, with no schedule behind it.

How the fee works

  • Sigma’s fee table lists 0% for trading on Solana.
  • No cashback documented.
  • No discount documented for referred users.
  • On EVM chains: 1% per side, so $20 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account. 1% on trades and snipes on every EVM chain in its fee table.
  • The fee table does not list Arbitrum or Blast, although Sigma supports both, and the page was last updated over a year ago.

How the fee works

  • On Solana, smaller orders pay a flat amount that depends on the route: as low as 0.10 USDC, or a 0.95 USDC minimum. The index uses the 0.95 minimum, so 0.5% applies from about $190. fomo covers Solana gas, priority fees and token rent.
  • No cashback documented.
  • A referral code takes 10% off every trade, for good: 0.45% instead of 0.50%.
  • On EVM chains: 0.5% per side, so $10 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account. Network fees come on top on EVM chains.
  • Select major tokens, flagged in the app, trade at 0.05%.
  • Perpetual futures are a separate product: 0.05% plus Hyperliquid’s own fees.

How the fee works

  • 1% per successful trade on the Telegram bot and on Trojan Terminal.
  • Every Telegram bot user gets 20% of the fee back in SOL. On Trojan Terminal, cashback follows your Arena rank, from 10% (Degen) to 35% (Titan), and Trojan advertises up to 45% with quests.
  • Trojan’s site promises 10% off trading fees through a referral link. It does not say how this combines with cashback.
  • Priority tip presets are 0.0015 SOL (Fast) and 0.0075 SOL (Turbo), paid to the network even when a transaction fails.
  • Some launchpads and Token-2022 tokens add their own fee or tax.

How the fee works

  • Cashback from 20% of the fee (Tier 1, 0.80% net) to 40% (Tier 5, 0.60% net). The fees page presents the ladder to everyone; the referral page presents 20% from day one as a referral benefit. The index starts every account at Tier 1.
  • No discount documented for referred users.
  • On EVM chains: 1% per side, so $16 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account. One spot rate on every chain.
  • Partner (KOL) referral links start at 45% cashback, 0.55% net, since 10 April 2026.
  • Perpetuals carry a separate 0.01% builder fee on Hyperliquid.

  • No discount documented for referred users.
  • On EVM chains: 1% per side, so $17 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account. Outside Solana the fee accrues on your account and is collected once it passes a chain minimum.
  • Maestro Premium costs $200 a month for higher limits and extra tools.

  • The Banana Bonus pays back fees times a multiplier between 0.05 and 1, in $BANANA. The live multiplier is not published, so the index counts no cashback.
  • No discount documented for referred users.
  • On EVM chains: 1% per side, so $20 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account. Manual buys and limit orders on Ethereum pay 0.5%; snipes on Ethereum and every trade on other EVM chains pay 1%. The index uses 1%.

  • No cashback documented.
  • A referral link takes 10% off the fee for good: 1.8% per trade.
  • On EVM chains: 2% per side, so $40 for a $1,000 round trip for a new account.
  • A copy is never placed under $3, and the network’s own cost is passed on top.
  • $COPY holders get a share of revenue, which is a token reward rather than a fee rebate.

How the fee works

  • No cashback documented.
  • No discount documented for referred users.
  • On EVM chains: no published rate.
  • Bankr charges by plan instead of by trade: a free tier with 5 messages a day, Bankr Club at $20 a month or $198 a year, or pay-as-you-go Max Mode. No page states a cut on ordinary swaps.
  • Tokens launched through Bankr carry a 1.75% swap fee in their own pool, paid by anyone who trades them.
  • Solana limit and stop orders run through Jupiter and pay 0.5% when they fill. Gas is sponsored on most EVM chains, up to 10 transactions and $3 a day per wallet.

Published rate against what users paid

DefiLlama measures both the fees each bot collects on chain and the volume it routes. Dividing one by the other gives the average rate users paid over 30 days, before the cashback bots pay back later. We read each DefiLlama adapter to keep only the bots where the two figures are measured separately.

BONKbotBoth figures come from the same third-party Dune table; half the published 1% points to fees being missed, not to a lower rate.1%0.56%$116K$20.6M

Together these 8 bots collected $113M on $14B of trades in 30 days. DefiLlama fees and volume, 30 days to 7 October 2026; adapters read on 7 October 2026. DefiLlama dimension-adapters

Why the other bots are not in this table

  • Sigma: No independently measured fee and volume series is available for this bot in this index.
  • o1.exchange: DefiLlama computes o1.exchange’s volume as its fees × 100, so the ratio is 1% by construction.
  • Maestro: DefiLlama publishes no volume for Maestro.
  • Based Bot: No independently measured fee and volume series is available for this bot in this index.
  • Banana Gun: Fees and volume cover different contracts: BSC shows $15.8M of volume against no fees at all.
  • copyfomo: Fees include gas copyfomo bills back and creator fees on its token, so the ratio overstates the trading fee.
  • Bankr: No volume series, and Bankr’s fees are mostly launchpad and creator fees rather than trading fees.

What the index leaves out

Network fees. Solana charges 5,000 lamports (0.000005 SOL) per signature, plus an optional priority fee that you set; EVM chains charge gas that moves with congestion. Both go to the network, not the bot, and they weigh more on small trades. Solana docs: fees

Tips and MEV protection. Several bots add a validator tip or route orders through protected relays. The amount is a setting you choose, not a fee schedule, so it stays out of the comparison.

Slippage and price impact. On a thin memecoin pair they can cost more than the platform fee, and they depend on the token and your settings rather than on the bot.

How the index is calculated

Every rate comes from the bot’s own documentation, help center or app, read on the date above. Nothing here comes from a test trade.

One scenario for every bot
A manual market buy and the matching sell, priced in US dollars. Snipes, limit orders and copy trades can cost more: the conditions sit in each row.
Cashback and referral discounts
Cashback is counted as a share of the fee returned to you, at the level a new account starts on and at the top tier. Where a source does not say how a referral discount and cashback combine, the discount is applied first, then the cashback.
Unknown stays unknown
A bot without a published rate is listed with its usage and left out of every average, ranking and calculation. We never estimate a rate a bot does not publish.
Platform fees only
Gas, priority fees, tips and slippage come on top for every bot. They depend on the chain, the moment and your settings, not on the schedule.
Refreshed with the fee pages
A weekly job compares every official fee page with the previous week’s copy and flags changes for review. When a schedule changes, the index changes with it.
