Token Sniffer review

Contract smell test on EVM and Solana#S06Solana · EVM

The veteran of contract auditing, now run by Solidus Labs, and the only tool here that documents both EVM chains and Solana from one score. It reads owner privileges, modifiable fees and liquidity locks, and returns a 0–100 score you can act on; what it does not do is charts, alerts, wallet clustering or snipers.

Who it’s for

Pick it if

You want one score per contract on Ethereum, BSC, Base or Solana before you buy.

You need live alerts, a wallet map or a free API.

Strengths / Limits

Strengths

  • One score covers Solana and the EVM chains in the same interface.
  • 16 chains and their DEXes are documented down to the accepted identifiers (this card names the main ones).
  • Score drivers are explained: fees changed by the creator, a holder passing 5% of supply, a liquidity lock expiring.
  • The API returns raw test data, a daily malicious-token list and a malicious-address list on the higher tiers.

Limits

  • No Telegram bot, no browser extension and no new-pair feed.
  • The API is the expensive part: $99 a month for 500 tokens a day, and no refunds.
  • Some documented chains are the long tail (Fantom, Gnosis, Harmony, KCC, Cronos, Oasis), where memecoin liquidity is thin.

How to start safely

  1. Open the official site

Type tokensniffer.com yourself or use a bookmark: scam copies of popular scanners exist too.

  2. Paste the token address

Use the contract address from the launchpad or the DEX pair, never a ticker: dozens of tokens share a name.

  3. Read the red flags first

Mint or freeze authority still active, unlocked liquidity, a few wallets holding most of the supply, snipers and linked wallets.

  4. Cross-check before you buy

Confirm on a second scanner and on the chain explorer, look at who is buying with a wallet tracker, then size the trade small.
