Birdeye review
A data platform rather than a scanner, and the only tool in this series with a documented referral program: free account, key in hand, real-time prices, OHLCV, holder analytics and liquidity across 15 chains, Solana first. What it does not document is contract risk: no mint or freeze flag, no honeypot simulation, no score.

- Price
- Free account · paid packagesA free account gives you an API key, and usage is then metered in compute units with paid packages and overage billing; the documentation describes quotas and extra charges but publishes no price list.

- Chains
- Solana, Ethereum, BSC, Base, Robinhood Chain, Sui, Mantle, HyperEVM, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, zkSync, Monad, Aptos
- What it needs from you
- Free account to generate an API key; the key goes in an X-API-KEY header. Nothing to sign on chain.
- New-user perk
- 15% off a paid subscription on the Elite referrer tier, 20% on the Professional tier, when you sign up through a referral link or code.

Who it’s for
Pick it if
You want to build or feed a dashboard with prices, holders and liquidity, and you might as well get paid for referring it.
Skip it if
You only need a quick “is this contract a trap?” answer and no data pipeline.
Strengths / Limits
Strengths
- The only referral program documented across the whole series: published tiers, discount for the referee, 10 USDC minimum payout, payouts on the 1st and the 15th.
- 15 chains documented with their API parameters, Solana, Robinhood and Monad included.
- Free account and free API key before any payment, with a documented compute-unit model.
- Holder analytics, liquidity OHLC and a cross-DEX price scanner documented as first-class endpoints.
Limits
- No documented contract-risk checklist: the word security appears in the overview, but no mint, freeze, honeypot or owner control is exposed in the docs read.
- Paid prices are not published: packages, compute units and overage are described, amounts are not.
- birdeye.so answers a plain request with a Cloudflare challenge, so only the documentation domain could be read directly.

How to start safely
- Open the official site
Type birdeye.so yourself or use a bookmark: scam copies of popular scanners exist too.
- Paste the token address
Use the contract address from the launchpad or the DEX pair, never a ticker: dozens of tokens share a name.
- Read the red flags first
Mint or freeze authority still active, unlocked liquidity, a few wallets holding most of the supply, snipers and linked wallets.
- Cross-check before you buy
Confirm on a second scanner and on the chain explorer, look at who is buying with a wallet tracker, then size the trade small.
